Moving to another country involves many adaptations. You must settle into a new home in an unfamiliar city with a different language and adjust to a new job and routine. Additionally, difficulties and bureaucracies can happen when it is necessary to carry out official transactions in the country of origin. Distance and costs are dominant factors that make it impossible to carry out these transactions in person.
The ICP-Brazil digital certificate was created in 2001, regulated by Provisional Measure nº 2.200-02, to function as a virtual identity for citizens and companies. This tool can securely identify the author or creator of an online message or transaction and allows Brazilian citizens to have an e-CPF; an electronic document that empowers them to sign proxies and contracts remotely with legal validity.
The validity of the e-CPF varies from one to three years. When purchasing the digital certificate, the user can complete unlimited transactions without spending any more money for as long as the certificate is valid.
The good news is that Interconti Certificates has partners that can issue ICP-Brazil digital certificates in several countries in the world.
Locals can avoid travel and use this service for situations such as:
- Hiring an attorney
- Signing contracts in general
- Buy and/or sell properties
- Purchase and sell of vehicles
- Declaration of Income Tax return and consultations on administrative proceedings with the Federal Revenue of Brazil
- Carry out some bank transactions.
Today, there is a service network in the following countries:
- Austria and neighbouring countries
