The INAA Group Information Booth was alive with activity from the moment the exhibit floor opened until the closing reception during the 2018 AICPA ENGAGE Conference in Las Vegas.

For three days INAA Vice Chairman Ed Turner, his fellow Turner, Stone & Company partner Todd Estes, and INAA Executive Manager Nadege Mullier met with partners and senior managers of accounting firms from all over the U.S. (and other countries), explaining the value and prestige of being part of INAA’s worldwide association.
INAA’s representatives were able to spend ample time with the booth visitors, identifying their concerns and needs and (where applicable) showing how INAA membership could enhance their presence in the worldwide marketplace. Many of the interested attendees noted they were getting more and more requests from their clients for help in doing business in other countries, while others said they were getting inquiries from firms wanting to do business in the U.S., so INAA looked like a good opportunity for many of them.

In addition to a quality list of prospective members, Ed and Todd attended many sessions in the large offering of educational programs, and identified a number of important topics, and excellent speakers, to recommend for future INAA regional and international meetings. They have already contacted several of them about presenting at future North American Forums. “The entire event far exceeded my expectations,” Turner said. “We had more traffic than we could have hoped for at our booth, the event was very professionally run, and the quality of the both programs and the attendees was outstanding. This is something that we need to consider as perhaps being a regular event for INAA. "

The North American members are now contacting the booth visitors and prospective members to encourage them join INAA as soon as possible. There is hope that several of the prospects will attend the North American Forum, August 23-24, 2018 in Denver, Colorado.
