Dr Neumann, Schmeer und Partner mbB

Dirc graduated in 1991 from University of Cologne in economics and started his career at Dr. Neumann Schmeer und Partner. He is certified tax consultant and chartered accountant and since 2003 managing partner.

In addition to advice and care of scientific institutes, public utilities and public service companies, he also specialises in audit, VAT and corporate taxes, insolvency and restructuring.

Karsten Schmidt was born in 1965 in Fulda. He studied business administration at the Fulda Technical College and began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co, Stuttgart, in 1988. After the fall of the Berlin-Wall in 1989 Karsten was delegated with the task of establishing a new Dresden subsidiary. In the winter of 1990 he decided to stay in Dresden.

After qualifying as a certified public accountant Karsten joined the SGK-Group in 1998. He is now a shareholder and Managing Director of SGK Auditnet GmbH,

Wirtschaftspruefungsgesellschaft.

One of Karsten’s areas of specialist knowledge is the microelectronics industry. Karsten also has extensive experience in business valuations, due diligence, tax consultancy, audits in the public sector and business start-ups.

Karsten is married and has one daughter. His hobbies are scuba-diving, skiing and relaxing.
