Buth & Hermanns is a medium-sized auditing and tax consulting firm and is managed by the two founding partners Andrea K. Buth and Michael Hermanns as well as the partner Jens Krummen, who joined at the beginning of 2020 in preparation for the following generation.

From our offices in Wuppertal and Düsseldorf, we provide nationwide services for our clients, which range from medium-sized enterprises as well as hidden champions, listed companies, private equity funds up to start-ups.

In addition to our activities in auditing and tax consultancy, we support and advise our clients in a variety of special projects such as corporate transactions (due diligence), company valuations and in the development and auditing of their sustainability reporting / ESG.

We also support our clients in crisis situations with our restructuring expertise. Our compendium "Restrukturierung Sanierung Insolvenz", published by founding partners Andrea K. Buth and Michael Hermanns, is now available in its 5th edition as one of the standard references in the German restructuring sector. Additionally, our restructuring expertise is underlined by the long- standing membership of Michael Hermanns in a committee of the IDW, the German Association of Auditors, which he has chaired since the beginning of 2024.
