How to do business in France

Pierre Angibeau

Partner, L&A Conseil & Audit

BIOGRAPHY

Pierre began his career in 1999 as a consultant in several independent accounting firms where he developed skills for reporting in an international environment. From 2005, when Ifrs became the choice of many groups, he helped his clients move from French to international standards. In 2007, when the energy market opened up in Europe, he joined a French utility start-up and helped build the reporting organization as Director of Consolidation and Taxation. After 5 years, he created his own activity and worked mainly as an independent consultant with a strong specialty in taxation and group reporting. During certain assignments, he established business relations with a member of the INAA network, which facilitated his meeting with LETA, an auditing and accounting firm with a historical relationship with the network. He thus started a new professional life as a technical partner in 2019 within LETA and after a few months of intense relations and a difficult but stimulating COVID period, he finally joined LETA as an Equity partner in 2021. He is now in charge of audit, consolidation and international clients within LETA where he contributes to building a multidisciplinary offer and directing the activity towards more advice for our clients.

ABSTRACT

Pierre Angibeau, from L&A Conseil & Audit, an Absoluce member and INAA member will present INAA members “How to do business in France”. Looking forward to hearing his secrets!

She is teaching sustainability on a Net Zero Leaders programme and is a member of the Norfolk Business Climate Leaders Advisory Board.

The institutional response

Disclosure requirements, ESG investing, International Agreements. The response of accounting bodies.

The Triple Bottom Line Accounting story

Origins of the name.  The history of the practice.  How the practice has more than doubled in two years.  How we have moved into Advisory and Net Zero consultancy services

Climate change mitigation and adaptation is urgently needed; why aren’t we reacting faster?
