Yap Chee Wei started his auditing career as an audit assistant and grew to become an Audit Principal over a span of 21 years in 4 different international accounting firms. His vast experience includes auditing of public and private limited companies as well as multinational companies from various industries. He has also dealt with counterparts and clients from various countries, including China, Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore etc. Besides statutory audits, he was also involved in internal audit engagements, due diligence, reviewing financial forecast and projections. Yap is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Amos is qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1984 and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and an associate member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM). He is also a Certified Financial Planner.

Amos started his auditing career and professional training with the international accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand in 1978 before establishing his own practice in 1988. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of the accounting profession specializing in auditing, taxation and management consultancy services. He has done numerous assignments in valuation, internal audit, due diligence and related services on merger and acquisition, project and corporate financing engagements and insolvency services.

Amos has spearheaded an Initial Public Offerings (IPO) exercise leading to a successful listing in the Bursa Malaysia. Since 2000, he had been appointed as director in seven public companies listed in Bursa Malaysia and he is currently sitting on the Board of three public listed companies.
